The All-Russian Day of Legal Assistance to Children

On the Day of Legal Assistance to Children November 20, 2015 the LEAD Consulting attorneys in association with the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative for the Protection of Rights of Children in the Moscow Region held a pro bono session of providing free legal help and advice to families raising several children. Alexander Linnikov, Sergei Sadovoy, Leonid Karpov, and Madina Ruzmetova held a meeting with multi-child families and families, raising disable children. The event was attended by the President of the Association of Multi-Child Families of the Moscow Region Elena Fominykh.

The discussion centered on the issues of family, housing, and land law, as well as on the problems of application of the social protection law in regard to socially vulnerable families. Attorneys of the LEAD Consulting Law Firm and experts of the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative for the Protection of Rights of Children succeeded in the resolution of many complex legal issues discussed at the meeting. Besides advice, several families were provided with free on-the-spot legal help and practical guidance to the resolution of their social protection issues.
