SESSION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE FEDERATION DEVOTED TO 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

On 14.12.2018 on behalf of  Linnikov & Partners  Madina Ruzmetova attended the joint session of the Council under the Chairperson of the Council of the Federation on Cooperation with Civil Society Institutions, Council of Commissioners for Human Rights, and the Civiс Chamber of the Russian Federation dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the discussion of results of the Year of the Volunteer in Russia.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the Resolution of the United Nations General Assembly on 10 December, 1948. Participants of the meeting unanimously agreed that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights acquires particular relevance and importance in the modern dynamically developing multipolar world. Strict adherence to principles set forth by the Declaration must be an undisputed priority of the foreign and domestic policy of all states in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms.
