On 27/07/2022, a meeting of the Center for Legislative Initiatives (the "CLI") under the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in Moscow was held, at which the proposals of Linnikov and Partners on amendments to criminal legislation and by-laws regulating the procedure for medical examination of convicts subject to release from punishment due to illness were discussed.
On 21/07/2022 the Council of the European Union adopted a new, seventh, package of sanctions against the Russian Federation, supposedly designed to clarify and strengthen the existing restrictions.
