On 08.07.2018 the Linnikov & Partners team took part in the Open Retro-Rally Cup of the Yaroslavl Region — third stage of the Russian Automobile Federation Classic Cars Racing Cup. The contest featured several dozens of participants. Most vehicles in the race were manufactured in the USSR. The L&P team was represented by the friends of the Linnikov family Marat Yarullin (pilot) and Elena Pol’kina (navigator). Alexander Linnikov regularly entrusts the experienced crew with cars from his family collection. On this occasion the 1980 Miskvich-2140 took part in the race.
