
On Sunday July 24, 2016 the third – and now traditional – GUM-Rally took place in Moscow. The annual GUM-Rally has become one of the central events of the classic cars’ racing season in Russia. A hundred and thirty cars of historic makes – GAZ, ZIS, ZIL, VAZ, “Moskvitch”, as well as other Russian and foreign makes and models took off from the Red Square for a fascinating tour of Moscow’s most significant landmarks.
The Linnikov & Partners team put forward three vehicles from the Linnikov family collection. The 1979 “Volga” carried the Fathers & Sons Team consisting of Alexander Linnikov and his son Yuri and Vladimir Churov and his son Evgeny.

From the 97th starting position took off the 1980 Moskvitch-2140 driven be Alexei Kirickek and navigated by Sergei Sadovoy. This particular car drew a great deal of attention from the public because of its unusual bright lemon color.

The M-20 “Pobeda” was given by Alexander Linnikov to the Bosco Fresh team – winner of the special prize of the rally to the most stylish team.
