Dmitry Smola successfully took a stand for the protection of rights of a foreign investor in a big bankruptcy case

The beginning of November of 2015 is marked by a new significant accomplishment of the LEAD Consulting civil litigation team. Dmitry Smola has succeeded in obtaining the ruling of the Commercial Court of one of the regions of the North-Caucasus Federal District for the inclusion of the claim of a foreign investor into the registrar of creditors of a big industrial enterprise for the total amount exceeding 2.5 billion rubles (i.e. roughly $40 million).

There are reasons to believe that the bankruptcy case in which Dmitry is involved as an attorney for a major creditor might become one of the most complex and significant insolvency proceedings in the North-Caucasus region over the last few years.
