Alexander Linnikov spoke at the round table in Milan

On September 19, 2017 Alexander Linnikov took part in the international round table From Lisbon to Vladivostok: a free trade zone between Europe and Russia organized by the Strategy & Development consulting group and the Italian media corporation Mediaset. The founder of Linnikov & Partners spoke about the prospective of development of trade and economic relationships between Russia and Europe in the context of development of the Eurasian Economic Union. Alexander Linnikov coveted the major accomplishments of integration between EAEU member-states and pointed out the most promising spheres of cooperation between EAEU and the European Union. Alexander’s presentation was based on materials predisposed by the Department of World Economy and World Finance of the Financial University under the Government of Russia.

The discussion, moderated by the vice-president of Mediaset Andrea Delogu , featured the Member of the European Parliament Honorable Stefano Maullu, Director of EURISPES professor Marco Ricceri, head of Certification Board  QSAGiorgio Barone and founder of Strategy & Development Fabrizio Zucca. The event was attended by businessmen, representatives of state authorities of the Lombardy Region and the city of Milan, members of faculty of Bocconi and the Catholic University of Milan and representatives of the legal community.

The idea behind the round table was to abandon fruitless talks about European economic sanctions against Russia in favor of searching for effective coopers mechanisms compliance to the requirements of modern Economy and responsive to needs and interests of the Russian and European business community. Participants of the discussion agreed that the bilateral dialogue between Russia and Italy has to be advanced and that the EAEU may be used as an alternative cooperation platform uninfluenced by political restrictions.
