26/11/2024, the founder of L&P made a comment on the news program of the MOSCOW-24 channel about the causes of problems when paying for purchases with UnionPay payment system cards on foreign trips.

Disabling UnionPay cards from service is a predictable development of events, a natural consequence of the imposition of US sanctions against Russian banks that issued and serviced these cards. And today, unfortunately, our foreign partners refuse to service cards issued by Russian banks, fearing so—called secondary sanctions from the United States,” Alexander Linnikov explained.
