MEETING OF THE WORKING GROUP ON DIGITALIZATION

On 20/09/2022 Tatiana Tsepkina attended a meeting of the working group on digitalization at the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in Moscow. The participants of the meeting — representatives of IT companies, advertising agencies and a number of related industries, as well as attorneys – discussed issues of digitalization in the business sphere and considered proposals to improve remote registration procedures for businesses in Rospatent. In addition, the meeting discussed problems related to the procedure for revoking state accreditation of companies operating in the field of information technology, and there was an exchange of views on one of the “hot” topics on the world agenda — the model of digitalization of relations between the state and society and interaction with business. Tatiana Tsepkina drew the attention of the audience to the fact that effective interaction between the state and business in the period of global digitalization of the economy is impossible without creating an appropriate regulatory system. The Working Group decided to prepare proposals for experimental regimes of legal regulation of digital entities in Moscow, including within the framework of the so-called “Metaverse”.
